Inspiring better living
through purposeful design

Over 100 years of Magnet

Our Yorkshire roots

Magnet was founded as a joinery business in Bingley, Yorkshire in 1918 by Tom Duxbury, which he named after his beloved horse, Magnet.

Tom believed in a considered approach, enabling him to offer better products and services to his customers. This simple premise still drives Magnet today.

We've come a long way from our humble Yorkshire roots, growing to be both leaders and pioneers in the industry as we paved the way for all the kitchen retailers in the UK.

Beautiful & purposeful design

Better doesn’t happen by chance. It happens because every aspect of our business is properly considered and done with purpose and care. It’s what makes Magnet Better. By design.

We use our decades of expertise and passion for design to craft beautiful, bespoke kitchens centred around you and your family.

But it’s not just about a kitchen being beautiful – it’s about the attention to detail and the purpose behind the design. It’s the thoughtful touches that are fit for purpose, yet sensitive to the environment. That’s what makes a Magnet kitchen different.

Explore our full range of award-winning kitchens to find your perfect match, with an array of styles, colours and accessories to choose from to make it entirely unique to you.
